Prayer Walk from Holy Trinity

Holy Trinity held its first biannual prayer walk.  On a beautiful June evening we prayed at a variety of locations including downtown churches, The RCMP detachment, fire hall, armories, court house, and some houses.   At Dr Brass school we prayed for all our Yorkton and area schools, children, and families, and for safety for all our graduates as they celebrate this week.

 THOUGHTS & SMILES:
SENIORS & COMPUTERS..........
As we Silver Surfers know, sometimes we have trouble with our computers.
I had a problem yesterday, so I called Eric -the 11 year old next door, whose bedroom looks like Mission Control and asked him to come over.
Eric clicked a couple of buttons and solved the problem. As he was walking away, I called after him, 'So, what was wrong? He replied, 'It was an ID ten T error.' I didn't want to appear stupid, but nonetheless inquired, 'An, ID ten T error? What's that? In case I need to fix it again.'
Eric grinned...'Haven't you ever heard of an ID ten T error before?
'No,' I replied.
'Write it down,' he said' and I think you'll figure it out.'
So I wrote down:
ID 10 T-ID10T

I used to like Eric!!!

Loving God, we come to you trusting in your mercy and knowing that your steadfast love endures forever. Look with mercy on those who are harmed or displaced. Give them strength to meet the days ahead, your peace which passes all understanding and new hope in the resurrection. Move in those who are able to give aid, that we may be your hands and heart on earth. Be with all who offer assistance, may your Spirit uphold them. As you have made water a sign of your kingdom, and of cleansing and rebirth, grant your people vision to see a new life on the other side of disaster.
To you be given all honour and praise, through Jesus Christ our Saviour and Lord. Amen
